This species is widely distributed in Mexico (states of Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Veracruz), Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia ( Ratcliffe et al. 2013; Ratcliffe and Morón 1997). There are no precise localities in Veracruz for this species; thus, we provide the following: “ MEXICO: Veracruz, Uxpanapa, luz

UV, 130 m snm, 22-V-81, A. Equihua ” (1♀), idem except: “23-V-81” (1♀) ( LLDC). This record effaces the distributional gap at the Isthmus of Tehuantepec mentioned by Ratcliffe et al. (2013) for this species .
