Cyclocephala barrerai Mart´ınez, 1969, new state record

A species endemic to Mexico, it is known from the states of Aguascalientes, Chihuahua, Ciudad de México, Durango, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Puebla, and Tlaxcala ( Moore et al. 2018; Ratcliffe et al. 2013). Three males and two females represent a new state record, labeled: “ MEXICO: Estado de México, Cuautitlán Izcalli, V-83, Luz incand., S. Morales y G. M. Delgado cols.” (2♂♂) (IEXA, LLDC), idem except: “V-84” (1♂, 2♀♀) (IEXA, LLDC). This record confirms the presence in an urban ecosystem north of Mexico City.
