Lectotype (Jonsell & Jarvis in Nordic J. Bot. 22: 83. 2002): Herb. Clifford: 38, Cornus 1 (BM-000557822) .

Current name: Cornus sanguinea L. ( Cornaceae ).

Note: Holub (in Zprávy Českoslov. Bot. Společn. Českoslov. Akad. Věd. 17: 22. 1982) noted the need for a neotype based on the poor quality of 151.4 (LINN).
