Distribution of Colochela
The distribution of Colochela is shown in Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 . The genus is endemic to southeastern Asia at present. The distribution of the three known species overlaps in Sichuan, Chongqing, Shaanxi and Hubei provinces. Within the generic distribution, C. nigrata is distributed in the southeastern area, C. zhongi distributed in the north and C. rufidorsata distributed in the southwestern area. It is possible that the genus is originated and differentiated in the Qinba Mountains of China. Further research on the molecular biogeography of the genus is needed to test this.
