Key to the species of Colochela
1 Body black entirely in both sexes; dorsum of head densely punctured, thorax and abdomen densely punctured and microsculptured, mat or almost so; mesoscutellar appendage (posttergite) with some large punctures and a distinct middle carina; third antennomere as long as following two antennomeres together; cercus short, about 2 times as long as broad; ovipositor sheath 1.5 times as long as front tibia; sheath tapering toward apex in dorsal view and about 2 times as broad as breadth of cercus ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2. a – c j); lancet as Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 a, with about 27 serrulae, annular spines short and sparse, middle and apical segments as Figs 4 View FIGURE 4 g, 4d; harpes 1.0-1.1 times as long as broad; penis valve as Figs 5 View FIGURE 5 j–l.................................................
