Feeds on
Oligophagous on several Salix spp. ( Głowacka 1989, Ossiannilsson 1992, Burckhardt and Lauterer 1997 b, Percy and Cronk 2020). We collected adults on Salix alba L., which is one of the confirmed host plants.
Distribution
General distribution. Palaearctic. Distribution in Bulgaria (Fig. 95 b View Figure 95 b ). Published records: PK, PVS, PVV, ROP, RPM, RPP, RRW, SBW ( Joakimov 1909, Głowacka and Harizanov 1983, Głowacka 1989, Percy and Cronk 2020, Pramatarova et al. 2023). Material examined: BN, PKG, PKZ, PSI, PSP, PT, PVV, ROM, ROP, RPM, RPR, RRE, RRW, SBW.
Diagnosis
Adult (Fig. 95 a View Figure 95 a ) and fifth-instar immature. Ossiannilsson (1992), Burckhardt and Lauterer (1997 b).
