Distribution. Kyrgyzstan ( Moseyko & Sprecher-Uebersax, 2010), Kazakhstan (new record).

This species occurs in mountainous Kyrgyzstan and feeds on cherries ( Prunus spp.) (L. Medvedev, 1957). This finding was unexpected in plain semi-desert part of Kazakhstan. It may be an anthropogenic introduction.
