One Ƌ syntype with labels: “Ƌ Californ., M H. d. Sauss.” [handwritten on ruled white card with “Californ.” printed]; “ Oecanthus californicus Sauss. ” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with wings folded; most of both antennae, the last tarsal segment of the left middle leg, the tarsi of the right middle leg and both hind legs are missing. Box A22.
