Synonyms:

Remarks:

Hoser (2000) placed this species in his genus Katrinus (see comments there). The recognition of the subspecies Liasis mackloti dunni and Liasis mackloti savuensis is supported by Rawlings et al. (2004). Carmichael et al. (2007) provide additional evidence (different courtship behaviors and pheromone trailing) for this placement.
