Distribution. BRAZIL (Bahia, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Goiás, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, S„o Paulo, and Paraná). Here we recorded it for the RPPN Sanctuary of Caraça.
Material examined. BRAZIL, Minas Gerais, Catas Altas , RPPN Sanctuary of Caraça, Casa da Ponte , 20°5’55.10”S 43°29’24.83”W, 1287 m, female, 18.xi.2022, Monné, M.L. leg. ( MNRJ-ENT7-47247 ) GoogleMaps .
Diagnosis. This species is recognized by the following combination of characters: shiny body surface; antennomere III with a longitudinal sulcus (male); antennomere XII about half the length of III (male) and antennomere XI about half the length of III (female); prothorax about as long as wide; pronotum with a pair of tubercles near the posterior margin; elytra about 3 times as long as prothorax; elytra glabrous with sparse, fine punctures ( Quintino & Monné 2014: 504, figs. 122–132).
