Etymology. The name is a combination of the last two letters of the type species locality, Jiangxi, and the latter half of Phrurolithus . The gender is masculine.

Remarks. Acrolithus Liu & Li, 2022 is a junior homonym of the hecaline leafhopper genus Acrolithus Freytag & Ma

1988 ( Hemiptera : Cicadellidae : Deltocephalinae ). Freytag & Ma (1988) created Acrolithus Freytag & Ma, 1988 for the species A. brevis from the Paramo de Guaramacal in Venezuela. As Acrolithus Liu & Li, 2022 is a junior homonym of

Acrolithus Freytag & Ma, 1988 , it is necessary to provide a replacement name. We therefore propose the replacement name Xilithus Liu & Li, 2022 , nom. nov.
