Distribution.

In Peninsular Malaysia, known from Perak only ( Maassen 2001). Elsewhere, in Sumatra and Sulawesi, Indonesia ( Maassen 2000).

Remarks.

Distinguished from sympatric congener Ptychopatula orcula by its smaller shell, tighter whorls, narrower umbilicus and tall spire.
