Remarks and distribution

The specimens collected in the Indian Ocean correspond exactly to the original description and to the specimens collected in the Caribbean Sea. One of the two specimens from Socotra is particularly large: 4 cm. This species, with its characteristic gonads ( Fig. 12A,C View Figure 12 ), and small gut ( Fig. 12B View Figure 12 ), is recorded in the Indian Ocean for the first time .
