Description
The carapace is shorter than the abdomen and longer than the pereon; the abdomen is subequal to the carapace and pereon together. Carapace with smooth transversal ridges; with four teeth on the mid-dorsal line (females). With short branchial siphons. Antennal notch as an acute incision. The frontal lobe is about 1 / 5 of the carapace length. With ocular pigment. Pereonite 2 narrow to other pereonites. Pereonite 2 overriding pereonite 1 and 3. Pereopod 2 with ischium. Pleonites cylindrical. Pleonite 6 is shorter than the peduncle of the uropod. Male with five pairs of pereopods. Peduncle of uropod longer than rami. Uropodal endopod uniarticulated. Uropodal peduncle without spines or setae on inner margin (females), uropodal exopod with four spines on outer margin (females) (Fig. 2 View Figure 2 B).
