Coxal area with short lines; anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) 8 (7–8), proximal setae on coxisternum І (1a) 21 (19–24), proximal setae on coxisternum І (2a) 40 (38–43). Prosternal apodeme present. Legs with usual series of setae. Legs І 28 (26–30), femur 8 (7–8), basiventral femoral setae (bv) 10 (9–10); genu 5 (5–6), antaxial genual setae (l'') 20 (19–21); tibia 6 (6–7), paraxial tibial setae (l') 5 (4–5), setae located 1/3 from dorsal base; tarsus 5 (4–5); tarsal empodium simple, 8-rayed, tarsal solenidion tapered. Legs І 25 (23–27), femur 7 (7–8), basiventral femoral setae (bv) 12 (12–13); genu 4 (4–5), antaxial genual setae (l'') 8 (8–9); tibia 5 (5–6); tarsus 5 (5–6); tarsal empodium simple, 8-rayed, tarsal solenidion tapered. Opisthosoma: dorsal opisthosoma with 73 (68–75) annuli, with dot microtubercles, ventrally with 71 (67–73) annuli, with round microtubercles. Setae c2 25 (23–27) on ventral annulus 9 (9–10); setae d 26 (24–28) on ventral annulus 21 (20–23); setae e 23 (20–25) on ventral annulus 40 (38–42), setae f 25 (21–27) on 5th ventral annulus from rear. Setae h1 4 (3–4). Female genitalia 13 (13–14) long, 20 (19–20) wide, coverflap with 10 longitudinal ridges, proximal setae on coxisternum ІІ (3a) 17 (17–18).

MALE: Unknown.

Types. Holotype, female, China: Henan Province, Song County, Baiyun Mountain, 34°08’N, 111°82’E. July 15, 2004, from Triarrhena sacchariflora (Maxim.) Nakai (Gramineae) , coll. Xue, Xiao-Feng. Paratypes, 9 females, with the same data as holotype.

Relation to host. Vagrant on leaf surface. No damage to the host was observed.

Etymology. The specific designation triarrhenae is from the generic name of the host plant, Triarrhena .

Remarks. This species is similar to Tegolophus fargesiae Xue, Song, Amrine & Hong, 2006 , but can be differentiated by admedian lines separated (admedian lines connected in T. fargesiae ), female genital coverflap with 10 longitudinal ridges (female genital coverflap with 14 longitudinal ridges in T. fargesiae ).
