Oomyzus scaposus (Thomson)

Material examined. 2♂, El-Gheit Baeid (Agoz, Bahariya Oasis), 28°20'47"N, 28°54'51"E, swept on Medicago sativa , v.2013 (leg. Usama Abu El-Ghiet).

Previous records from Egypt. Assiut (27°09'26"N, 31°11'53"E) ( Nasser et al. 2000), Sohag ( Gadallah et al. 2014).

Distribution. Nearctic, Indo-Malaya and Palaearctic.

Host records. In Egypt, it has been reported as a parasitoid of Coccinella undecimpunctata (Linnaeus) ( Coleoptera : Coccinellidae ) ( Nasser et al. 2000; Gadallah et al. 2014).
