Distribution in the area.

It is only found in the upper Seyhan River drainages. However, it is known from the Kızılırmak River drainages in Turkey. Oxynoemacheilus kosswigi is known from the Kızılırmak drainages and has recently been synonymised with O. seyhanensis ( Sungur 2020).
