Type material.

The lectotype (designated by Kilias 1961) and 175 paratypes are kept in ZMB under accession numbers 8143a (the lectotype) and 8143b. The height of the lectotype shell is 11.4 mm.

Type locality.

Northern China, Chi-foo (= Tschifu). leg. Schottmüller.
