Drouin coll., S. Cazères det. ( CXMNC); Nouméa County (Quartier Ouémo- Magenta), 30.VII.2014, on leaves of Vanilla sp., N. Hugot coll., S. Cazères det. ( CXMNC).

PUBLISHED RECORDS IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Mille et al. 2012.

DISTRIBUTION IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Loyalty Islands and Grande Terre.

HOST- PLANTS IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Highly polyphagous; this species is hosted by 25 botanical families (Ben-Dov 2012c).

OTHER RECORDS. — Angola, Australia, Brazil, Cameroon, Bermuda, Barbados, Cuba, Ecuador, Fiji Islands, French Polynesia, La Réunion, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mayotte, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Puerto-Rico, Surinam, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, USA, and Venezuela.

BIOLOGICAL AGENTS. — Unknown.

NOTE. — This recently established species appears to be a major threat to New Caledonian Vanilla .
