( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 4. 1 )

Description. Male. Integument dark brown; prosternum and basal half of femora yellowish. Body with predominance of dark-brown pubescence. Yellow pubescence covering head, antennal segment 4, ventral surface of profemora, and forms a longitudinal vitta on each side of pronotum, which continues along the elytra without reaching apices. Antenna exceeding elytral apices by four segments; segment 3 with sparse setae beneath. Lateral tubercles of prothorax obtuse, each with a shallow, dorsal depression at base. Pronotum with two rows of sparse punctures on basal fourth. Elytra entirely, sparsely setose; elytral apices obliquely truncated, outer angles slightly projected in a stout spine. Protarsi densely fringed with short hairs at sides. Abdomen with urotergite 5 rounded at apex, urosternite 5 semicircularly emarginated.

Female. Similar to male, differing by the protarsi without short hairs at sides, and urosternite 5 dentate at outer angles.

Measurements (mm), male/female. Total length, 6.5–9.0/6.0–8.3; prothorax length, 1.0–1.8/0.9–1.2; prothorax width, 1.0–1.9/1.1–1.5; elytral length, 5.0–6.5/4.8–6.6; humeral width, 1.2–2.0/1.2–1.8.
