Notes.

Alicia comprises only two currently accepted species (no threatened species; Suppl. material 1) of lianas endemic to rainforests and seasonally dry tropical forests of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela, South America ( POWO 2024).
