Type locality and specimens. Fundort: Adoshebai, 18. Jan. 1901 (2 ♂♂; Neum.).
Dimensions. [26.62; 32.26]
Oldest label. Solpuga parkinsoni Poc. var neumani Krpln , ex typis, Neumann 18.1.0 1, d. x.02, Adoshebai, Somaliland (Kraepelin handwriting).
Additional label. Sulpuga neumanni Krpl. , 1♂ —ex Typ.— Somaliland. Roewer det. 1932— No. 9497 ( Roewer handwriting).
Type material. Lectotype ♂ here designated (ZMH-A0000190).
Taxonomic remarks. According to Moritz & Fischer (1980), the other male syntype is located at the ZMB (catalog no. 15661) and should now be regarded as the paralectotype.
Collection remarks. Adoshebai refers to the Adoshebai Valley , North of Lake Chew Bahir in Ethiopia.
Current systematic position. Solpugidae , Zeria neumanni ( Kraepelin 1903) .
