Dimensions. Truncuslänge 23 mm. [22.56; 29.77]

Older label. Solpuga strepsiceros Krpln , ♂, Original ex., W. Joost, d. 7.X.1893, Delagoa Bay ( Kraepelin handwriting).

Additional label. Mus . Hamburg, Solpuga strepsiceros Krpl. 1♂ — Delagoa Bai Typ, Roewer revid. 1932 — No. 9500 (Roewer handwriting).

Type material. Holotype ♂ (ZMH-A0000192). Some legs detached, abdomen damaged.

Collection remarks. The type locality is Maputo Bay in Mozambique . No additional data are available.

Current systematic position. Solpugidae , Zeria strepsiceros ( Kraepelin 1899) .
