Type locality and specimens. Fundangabe: Windhuk; W. Michaelsen, April bis Mai 1911 (1 ♂).
Dimensions. Länge des Truncus 10 mm [10.54; 12.81].
Oldest label. Ceroma focki Krpl , ♂ Typus, Michaelsen, Windhuk, 24/4.–1/5.11 (Kraepelin handwriting).
Additional label. Mus . Hamburg. Ceroma focki Krpl. , 1♂ — S.W. Afr: Windhuk, Roewer revid. 1932 — No. 8496 (Roewer handwriting).
Type material. Holotype ♂ (ZMH-A0000233).
Collection remarks. This specimen was collected by Wilhelm Michaelsen during his third major excursion to German Southwest Africa (today Namibia and western South Africa), following the expeditions to the Magallanes Region of South America and southwestern Africa. The results of these excursions were published in a major volume edited by Michaelsen (1914–1916).
Current systematic position. Ceromidae , Ceromella focki ( Kraepelin 1914) .
