Material examined: 2 males, 2 females ( SCAU) , 1 male, 1 female, 2 juveniles ( YZU), China, Jiangsu Province, Yangzhou City, Hanjiang district, Yangzhou University Hehuachi Campus , 32°22’59.61”N, 119°25’27.87”E, 12 m a.s.l., 2018-VI-10 . 1 male ( SCAU), Zhejiang Province, Kaihua County, Gutian , 29°14.787′N, 118°7.496′E, 435 m a.s.l., 2018-X-9, all Qing-Bo Huo leg.

Remarks: This species is very common in southern Japan, Taiwan and also has been recorded from Vietnam ( Golovatch et al. 2011, Golovatch 2016). The new samples almost fully agree with the original description and the later detailed redescription ( Verhoeff 1931, Golovatch et al. 2011). The habitus and gonopodal structure ( Figs 1–3 ) are illustrated here to document the species’ identity.

Willows are very common in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Most samples of N. nodulosa have been collected from dead willows by the second author during a study of termite infestations.
