Pachyschelus lunifer Waterhouse, 1889: 148 View in CoL . Hylaeogena lunifer: Hespenheide, 1974: 106 .

This species was inadvertently transferred to Hylaeogena ( Hespenheide 1974) View in CoL . After examination, based on the genus diagnosis, it belongs to Pachyschelus View in CoL and is herewith returned to the original combination. Specimen examined:

BMNH: holotype: Guatemala, Volcan de Atitlan 3000 feet (Champion).
