New Records. CANADA, New Brunswick, York Co. Charters Settlement, 45.8286°N, 66.7365°W, 3.VI.2008, mature red spruce and red maple forest, under bark of red spruce infested with D. rufipennis (Kirby) and P. rufi pennis (1 sex undetermined, 2 ♁, 4 ♀, RWC).
Bionomic Notes. Adults were found in mature red spruce and red maple forest, under bark of red spruce infested with D. rufipennis and P. rufi pennis . Collection method: hand searching subcortical habitat.
Distribution in Canada and Alaska. YT, NT, BC, AB, ON, QC, NB, NS ( Klimaszewski et al. 2001; Gouix and Klimaszewski 2007).
