Note: See extensive discussion by Devesa & López González (in Anales Jard. Bot. Madrid 55: 253-254. 1997) who note that 896.25 (LINN) matches Linnaeus’ description, but is sterile and difficult to identify. The cited illustration from Magnol is identifiable as O. aragonensis Asso.
