Variation. The intraspecific variation occurs in the colour of antennomeres VIII and X and elytral vittae. Antennomeres IX–X white in N. ochraceovittata (Aurivillius, 1992b) , segment X somewhat widely black at apex and sometimes narrowly white at base in N. ochraceo-vittata var. intermedia , IX white and segment X entirely black in N. ochraceo-vittata var. extrema ( Aurivillius, 1924) , segment X black and apical half of segment VIII pale yellow as segment IX in N. ochraceovittata m. griseolineata ( Breuning, 1970). Elytron covered with one yellow and three grayish white longitudinal vittae in first three ( Figs 23 View FIGURES 23 – 27 –42), and elytron only with gray longitudinal vittae in N. ochraceovittata m. griseolineata ( Breuning, 1970).

Male terminalia. Tergite VIII ( Figs 43–44 View FIGURES 43 – 55 ) sparsely covered with short setae at margin of the apical half, with 5 longer setae at apex; disc short, nearly as long as wide, sides gradually constricted towards apex, apex broadly rounded. Sternite VIII ( Figs 43–44 View FIGURES 43 – 55 ) sparsely covered with short setae at sides of middle of apex, spiculum relictum short. Spiculum gastrale ( Figs 45–47 View FIGURES 43 – 55 ) Y-shaped, slender, distinctly longer than sternite VIII. Tegmen ( Figs 48–52 View FIGURES 43 – 55 ) nearly flat, about as long as penis; apical 2/3 of the dorsal surface of parameres sparsely covered with short setae, denser and longer setae apically, ventral surface of parameres sparsely covered with short setae, denser setae at apex and at insides of base, longer setae apically, parameres separated from each other, but nearly connected in the middle, rounded apically; phallobase more than 2.0 times as long as parameres. Aedeagus ( Figs 53–55 View FIGURES 43 – 55 ) curved and thin in profile; dorsal struts short, nearly 1/3 as long as penis, weakly curved in profile; dorsal plate rounded apically; ventral plate distinctly longer than dorsal plate, bearing a small round projection at apex.

Comments. The specimen “NHRS-JLKB000021646” deposited in NHRS has no identification label. Dr. Johannes Bergsten (NHRS) told the senior author that the specimen (NHRS-JLKB000021646) belongs to Nyctimenius ochraceovittata m. extrema.
