Notes
Common on dry saline soils ( Welsh 2003), Atriplex confertifolia was abundant along a seasonally wet streambed north of MDRS. This widely distributed species readily hybridizes with other congeneric taxa, including Atriplex corrugata and A. gardneri ( Stutz 1978), both of which are found in the study area. This species is known from the nearby San Rafael Swell ( Harris 1983).
