Macrobotus dujardini Doyère, 1840: 288 .

Material examined. Ecuador: Pichincha: four specimens from a soil sample; Otonga : five specimens from a liverwort sample ( Plagiochila punctata ).

The specimens of this cosmopolitan species have two macroplacoids and septulum as stated by Bertolani (1982), and a short cuticular bar is present between the bases of the claws on the hind legs.
