Taxonomy. Kerivoula depressa G. S. Miller, 1906 View in CoL ,
“Biapo, Carin Hills, north-east of Tounghoo, southern Burma [= Myanmar].”
See K. hardwickii . Unlike other members of the hardwickii species group, K. depressa has a distinctly flattened skull that separatesit from other members of the clade that have domed skulls. Kerivoula dongduongana was included under K. depressa until recently split using phylogenetic and morphological data; they are sympatrically distributed in the Annamite Mountains ofVietnam. Kerivoula depressa appears to be sister to true K. hardwickii in South-east Asia. Monotypic.
Distribution. E Myanmar, Laos, N & S Vietnam, and W & NE Cambodia; distribution is only tentative, and it likely occurs in much of Indochina. View Figure
