Holotype male [in Gnaspini, 1996: 541; not clearly assigned by Jeannel, who analysed 10 specimens] in MNHN.

Type locality: Cueva Alfredo Jahn, Capaya, Miranda State, Venezuela.

Distribution: Ecuador: Esmeraldas Province; Venezuela: Miranda State.
