Holotype male in SBPC [now in CMNC].

Type locality: Monte Verde, 1500 m, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica.

Distribution: Costa Rica: Alajuela, Heredia, Limón, and Puntarenas Provinces; Ecuador: Pichincha Province.
