Holotype male [a single specimen in original description, assumed as holotype] in BMNH.
Type locality: Puerto Blest, Lago Nahuel Huapi [as “Nahuel Huapi Reserve, Lago Frias” in Jeannel, 1962], Río Negro Province, Argentina.
Distribution: Argentina: Río Negro Province; Chile: Quillota Province.
