Holotype male in HNHM.
Type locality: NE Lago Puelo, near Lake, 220 m, El Pueblo, Chubut Province, Argentina.
Distribution: Argentina: Chubut, Río Negro, Salta, and Tierra del Fuego Provinces; Chile: Cautín, Coihaique, Concepción, Llanquihue, Magallanes, Malleco, Ñuble, Osorno, Palena, Talca, Última Esperanza, and Valdivia Provinces.
Note: This species was misidentified as Nemadiopsis ? fastidiosus in Szymczakowski, 1965: 246 ( Argentina: Chubut and Río Negro Provinces) ( Szymczakowski, 1968: 23).
