E. haemorrhoidalis ( Portevin, 1903a: 165) View in CoL
( Spathosternum Portevin , not Krauss [1877]), 1907: 67 comb. (to Sphaerocatops View in CoL ); Jeannel, 1936: 52 comb. (not stated as taxonomic change; assignment to subgenus); Salgado, 2010d: 54 (female type seen).
Holotype male [a single specimen in original description, assumed as holotype; but Jeannel, 1936 states “several specimens”] in MNHN [in Jeannel, 1936; original description refers to [probably] Grouvelle collection]. Type locality: Cochabamba [Department], Bolivia.
Distribution: Bolivia: Cochabamba Department: known only from type locality.
Note: Salgado (2010d: 54) offers the description of the male, but in the list of the material examined he lists only one female type (he states: With no data labels but probably from Cochabamba, as the specimen is in Portevin collection).
