Syntypes (several specimens, males and females, in original description; Jeannel, 1936 and Szymczakowski, 1968 refer to 2 specimens, sex not given; male aedeagus illustrated in Jeannel, 1936) in MNHN (original description refers to Grouvelle collection).

Type locality: Marcapata, [Cuzco Department], Peru.
