Holotype male in SBPC [now in CMNC]. Type locality: Tlanchinol, 1500 m, 43 km SW Huejutla, Hidalgo State, Mexico.

Distribution: El Salvador: Santa Ana Department; Guatemala: Alta Verapaz, Baja Verapaz, and Chimaltenango Departments; Honduras: Comayagua, Cortés, El Paraiso, Francisco Morazán, and Olancho Departments; Mexico: Chiapas, Hidalgo, Oaxaca, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, and Veracruz States.
