Neotype (Santesson in Thunbergia 2 10. 1986): Sweden. Öland, Böda, Mensalvaret, 3 Aug 1983, R. Santesson & T. Tönsberg (Lich. Sel. Exs. Ups. 25) (UPS).

Current name: Xanthoria Candelaria (L.) Th. Fr. ( Teloschistaceae).
