This species was described from Colombia (Magdalena). Currently it is recorded from Honduras, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Guyana, French Guiana, Brazil (Paraíba, Ceará, Pernambuco, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul), Bolivia (Santa Cruz), Paraguay, Argentina (Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, La Rioja, Córdoba, Santa Fé, Entre Ríos, Buenos Aires), Uruguay, and São Tomé & Principe (Africa) ( Monné 2018b).
