Syntype Larval exuviae with associated F: San Francisco mines, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic ( NMNH) .
Distribution in South America: Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Republic of Suriname, Venezuela (See Apendix I concerning distribution in Brazil). Type locality: San Francisco mines, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
