Remark. Laurent (1964a: 237) described Tetralobus auripilis var. pangensis from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Although this name is not available in the sense of the Code ( ICZN 1999, Art. 45.6.3), Girard (2003) mentioned it as a synonym of T. crassicollis Laurent, 1964a .
