Adult Female. Four specimens examined.
Dorsum. Dorsal shield with 397 (373–435) long, 336 (313–350) wide at level of s 4; j 1 13 (10–15), j 3 21 (13– 28), j 4 11 (8–13), j 6 9 (8–10), J 5 11 (8–13), z 2 11 (8–13), z 4 16 (13–18), z 5 7 (5–8), Z 1 14 (13–15), Z 4 188 (168– 200), Z 5 235 (225–250), s 4 193 (180–205), S 4 10, S 5 10, r 3 8, R 1 8.
Venter. Distances between St 1 –St 3 54 (53–55), St 2 –St 2 66 (63–68), St 5 –St 5 100 (95–105). Ventrianal shield with 144 (130–150) long, 164 (153–173) wide at level of ZV 2 and 118 (110–125) wide at level of anus.
Chelicera. Fixed digit 25 long and movable digit 21 (18–25) long.
Legs. Sge IV 84 (75–90), Sti IV 74 (65–88).
Previous records in Rio Grande do Sul. This is the first record to Rio Grande do Sul state.
Comments. This species has been reported on Arecaceae in Pernambuco and São Paulo states (Gondim Jr. & Moraes, 2001) and on Euphorbiaceae in São Paulo (Zacarias & Moraes, 2001).
