Diagnosis. Distinguished from other Antodynerus species by the following combination of characters: clypeus much wider than long with a pair of raised areas in the middle ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 17–21 ), cephalic foveae placed in a deep small pit with raised posterior margin ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 17–21 ), pronotal lamella complete and shortly lamellate, scutellum flattened and almost at same level as mesoscutum, arcuate transverse carina of metanotum very weak, lateral and inferior carinae of propodeum present as surface folds, T1 with distinct translucent apical margin ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 17–21 ), S 2 in lateral view more convex at base and without median furrow or depression ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 17–21 ), punctures of head and mesosoma very coarse and deep, with interspaces raised in irregular and elongate reticulation, punctures of metasoma much finer and sparser.

Description. Female ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 17–21 ). Body length 12.0 mm; fore wing length 10.3 mm.

Head in frontal view 1.3 × as wide as long ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 17–21 ). Clypeus in frontal view 1.45 × as wide as long, basal margin nearly entirely horizontal, lateral margins of free apical area straight and strongly converging below, apical margin truncate and 0.16 × as wide as clypeus width, much narrower than interantennal distance, apical corners pointed with short blunt carinae, disc of clypeus with a pair of low raised areas on transition from median to lateral thirds; clypeus in lateral view barely convex, appearing angulate near middle. Interantennal space with a sharp median carina. Distance from posterior ocellus to occipital margin 1.55 × as long as distance from posterior ocellus to inner eye margin; vertex distinctly rounded posteriorly, with occipital carina placed clearly below level of ocelli. Cephalic foveae small and very close, placed in a deep rounded pit which is shorter than half ocellar diameter, posterior margin of pit raised ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 17–21 ). Gena in lateral view as wide eye at bottom of ocular sinus. Occipital carina complete, finer dorsally, becoming lamellate ventrally. Antennal scape 3.3 × as long as apically wide, F1 1.7 × as long as wide, shorter than F2+F3, F2 subquadrate, F3–F9 wider than long and becoming progressively shorter and wider, F10 bullet-shaped and shorter than basally wide. Mandible 5-toothed, in frontal view apical tooth weakly curved and about as long as basally wide, second and third teeth subtriangular with rounded apex, fourth tooth barely developed, fifth tooth place behind level of other teeth and forming a rounded angle. Maxillary palpi incomplete, basal three palpomeres elongate and cylindrical, fourth palpomere much shorter than previous ones; labial palpi 4-segmented, first palpomere elongate and weakly expanding apically, bearing a pair of spiniform long setae near apex, second palpomere cylindrical with raised area near apex of ventral side and very sparse short setae, bearing a pair of asymmetrical long setae, outer seta curved, longer and thicker, inner seta straight, shorter and finer, third palpomere elongate and cylindrical, with a pair of very long curved thick setae at apex, fourth palpomere digitiform, shorter than apical setae of previous segment. Mesosoma elongate in dorsal view, 1.4 × as long as wide. Pronotum in dorsal view with rounded sides which become depressed in posterior half, pronotal carina complete and shortly lamellate, evenly rounded on humeri, pretegular carina strong and preceded by a narrow deep depression. Mesoscutum in dorsal view as long as wide between tegulae, bearing a median tubercle on transition from anterior to median third of length, parapsidal lines raised and becoming higher anteriorly, notauli complete though shallow and disappearing in the middle; evenly convex in lateral view; parategula very short, right angled basally. Scutellum wider than long, 0.6 × as wide as mesoscutum, anterior margin depressed and crenate; flattened in lateral view, placed barely above level of mesoscutum; axillary fossa oval, longer than wide. Metanotum in lateral view barely angulate basally, transverse arcuate carina weak and largely interrupted medially. Tegula broadly rounded on outer margin, maximum width reached in anterior half, outer margin weakly reflexed, posterior lobe shortly triangular and exceeding parategula, inner margin depressed and placed distinctly below rest of surface. Mesepisternum convex and broad, epicnemial carina blunt and visible only on ventral third and not reaching ventral face, epimeron shortly tuberculate on ventral margin. Propodeum in posterodorsal view wider than long, dorsal faces weakly convex and smoothly passing into posterior face, posterior face broadly and shallowly concave, lateral faces flattened dorsally and strongly depressed on posteroventral corners; dorsal carinae absent, lateral and inferior carinae present as angular folds of surface, posterolateral angles barely indicated, median line of concavity with a barely indicated carina that continues in a sharp tubercle followed by an elongate basal fovea. T 1 in dorsal view 1.8 × as wide as long, anterior margin weakly rounded, apical margin forming a short translucent lamella; T 2 in dorsal view 1.3 × as wide as long, subparallel at sides, apically with a barely indicated translucent margin, weakly and evenly convex in lateral view ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 17–21 ); S1 with an arched transverse carina near base of expanded part; S 2 in lateral view convex basally, then flattened to the apex, without basal longitudinal furrow ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 17–21 ).

Clypeus with deep punctures, smaller and sparser on basal margin and sides, larger and denser medioapically, interspaces equal to or about half as punctures diameter with some micropunctures. Frons with very deep punctures, interspaces narrow and raised in a dull irregular reticulation; vertex similar but punctures larger and sparser; gena with interspaces larger and micropunctate. Scape with dense micropunctures, becoming sparser apically, and some sparse fine macropunctures. Dorsal and upper half of lateral faces of pronotum punctured similar to vertex, but interspaces not shiny, ventral half of lateral faces irregularly punctate and striate; anterior face of pronotum microreticulate and shiny, with deep punctures on sides. Mesoscutum and scutellum similar to pronotum, but interspaces with larger micropunctures. Metanotum coarsely punctured dorsally, longitudinally striate ventrally. Tegula shiny, very finely and shallowly microreticulate, with sparse and fine shallow punctures. Proepisternum densely micropunctate with sparse deep punctures. Mesepisternum with deep rounded punctures arranged in irregular series, interspaces narrow and forming irregular transverse ridges; epicnemium micropunctate with some punctures near ventral margin. Dorsal plate of metaepisternum with fine transverse irregular striae, ventral plate microstriate with sparse deep punctures. Dorsal faces of propodeum coarsely punctured, punctures confluent, interspaces reduced to sharp reticulation and transverse irregular ridges; posterior face with oblique sparse striae and some barely visible shallow punctures; lateral faces similar to dorsal faces, but punctures less coarse and interspaces wider. T1 densely microreticulate on whole surface, dorsal horizontal surface with deep small punctures, interspaces much wider than punctures diameter; T2 similar to T1, but punctures shallower and sparser; T3–T6 dull, very densely microreticulate, with some very fine punctures barely visible on T3 and T4. S1 with area in front or arched carina irregularly sculpted, area behind carina with some irregular ridges; S2 similar to respective tergum, but punctures deeper and sparser and interspaces sparsely micropunctate; S3–S6 very densely micropunctate, S3–S4 with sparse deep macropunctures. Pilosity pale, whitish-yellow; vestiture of head and mesosoma made of long erect setae, longer on frons, pronotum, mesoscutum and propodeum; metasoma with very short, barely visible, dust-like pale pubescence, some grayish setae on S1 and basal half of S2.

Black; following parts orange-yellow: clypeus except basal margin and lateral spots on apical half, bilobate spot above interantennal space, inner eye margin from clypeal margin to bottom of ocular sinus, large oval spot behind dorsal half of eye, mandible except margins, antenna except dorsal face of apical half of scape, anterior band on dorsal face of clypeus weakly enlarged on sides, broad anterior band on metanotum, tegula, most of fore leg, mid and hind legs starting from base of femora, narrow and well defined apical bands on T1–T2 and S2; following parts dark orange: anterior face of proepisternum, irregular spots on mid and hind coxae, narrow apical band on T3 and S3, most of S1, T4–T6 and S4–S6. Wings hyaline with yellowish tinge, veins brown, costa and pterostigma paler.
