Material examined. India: West Bengal, Darjeeling , (27°2'N, 88°16'E), coll. Harmand, 2854-90 — 1 female (holotype) (Paris MNHN) GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. In contrast to M. fruhstorferi , the female of M. harmandi has a long, substraight ovipositor with unmodified tip ( Fig. 75P View FIGURE 75 ). The subgenital plate is wider than long with converging lateral margins and subtruncate to faintly concave apical margin ( Fig. 75Q View FIGURE 75 ).

Measurements after Griffini 1912c (1 female).—body w/o wings: 19.2; pronotum: 4.2; tegmen: 1.3; hind femur: 12.5; ovipositor: 24.6 mm.
