Type locality. France (“Habitat in Gallia Dom. Bosc”).
Material examined. None.
Identity. Epinotia solandriana ( Linnaeus, 1758) ( Olethreutinae , Eucosmini ), new synonym.
Remarks. Pyralis rusticana is an unused name. It is not included by Brown (2005) or Beccaloni et al. (2005). Based on Herrich-Schäffer (1856), we agree that it is a synonym of Tortrix parmatana Hübner , which is a synonym of Tortrix solandriana Linnaeus.
