9. Syringophilopsis kazmierski Skoracki, 2004

This species was described from the European Pied Flycatcher Ficedula hypoleuca (Pallas) and the Redbreasted Flycatcher F. parva (Bechstein) from Poland (Skoracki 2004b).

Material examined. From quills (secondaries) of the Common Redstart Phoenicurus phoenicurus (L.) ( Turdidae ) (new host): 10 females, 4 males, 15 nymphs and 1 larva (Syr. 184); Jordan, Al-Dhleil, 12 March 2002; leg. M. Skoracki.
