Remarks.

This genus currently contains two described species from Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka. Males are characterized by short antennae and deeply emarginate eyes, each with a smaller upper portion and a larger lower portion (Fig. 1B View Figure 1 ). Regarding the gender of Dioptoma , Pascoe (1860) treated it as feminine and since the name is not a Greek noun, here we follow Pascoe’s decision.
