Material examined. VIETNAM: LAO CAI PROVINCE: Sa Pa District, Cat-Cat , FVBC [= Frontier Vietnam Base Camp], 1250 m, 8.iv.–2.vi.1998, leg. Frontier, Vietnam (4 JJ 3 ♀♀, HNHM; 1 J, HNHM > TUA) .

Diagnosis. It differs from P.rufinervis ardens by the absence of a distinct brown longitudinal stripe in the middle of the fore wing.

Distribution. China: Yunnan; Vietnam!
